Celebrity Indira enthusiastic about "project start-up" creatives
Simon Perschbacher (20) from Hungen (near Gießen) won the talent competition "project start up - zeig' was du kannst." The wood designer beat out three finalists and won a trip to the trendy metropolis of Barcelona and his own shop in the Zeilgalerie in Frankfurt. The lucky winner said: "I may have won, but everyone of us was three weeks here, everyone has invested a lot, so we can also share the store." Indira Weis (known from the German reality-show "Das Dschungelcamp"): "I'm keenly thrilled: I tought to visit a craft room, but they are true professionals. The objects designed by the candidates can be sold easily in a store for significant sums."
The Hessian private channel planet radio and Zeilgalerie looked in the past 3 weeks for young Hesse for the "project start up - zeig' was du kannst." Thousands of Hesse took part and presented their projects on the planetradio.de website. Four finalists moved on 21 February in a shop in the Zeilgalerie (6th floor), the "talent district", and were faced with several tasks. They designed mobile phone covers, shirts and pizza boxes. On Saturday (March 12) the final took place at the Zeilgalerie. Mareike Stahl (23) from Wiesbaden, Simon Perschbacher (20) from Hungen-Inheidenen, Meike Bambuch (23) and René Baumann (31, both from Rodgau) designed Styrofoam blocks. Planet radio listeners were watching and especially the jury, Indira, Karlo Schwöbel (Zeilgalerie) and the planet radio morning stars Matze and Desi. In the afternoon, Simon Perschbacher, who formed with his chain saw and file the polystyrene block to a couch was announced as the winner. At the medal ceremony, he made the three other finalists also to winners. On Thursday (March 17) the four creatives will move their "start ups" in a retail space in the Zeilgalerie.
